A B O U T   M E 

 

I graduated from University with a First-Class Degree in Fine Art as well as a Masters in Design at distinction level, so thrive in situations that enables me to use my imagination to provide unique outcomes to problem solving. Due to previous retail experience, I am confident I can effectively negotiate and manage a team while comfortably presenting design plans in response to client-focused briefs. 

 

Throughout my degree education, I have focused on the space planning of both healthcare and residential environments alongside colours schemes, mood boards and participatory art installations. During my master’s degree, I have specifically studied interior design within healthcare facilities and conducted this alongside multiple psychology diplomas, as I have a keen interest in designing spaces which can ultimately improve and benefit an occupants psychical and mental health.

Position: Freelance Illustrator

Location: Kent 

 

Since establishing my own company, Creating 'El, in 2019, I have been creating private artwork and designing tattoos for multiple clients.

 

 

2 0 1 6 – P R E S E N T    Gallagher Ltd. 

Position: Accounts Assistant/ Receptionist 

Location: Kent

 

At Gallagher, I predominantly work as part of the finance team where I assist with numerous tasks, including handling invoices and matching purchase ledger and tickets to purchase orders alongside updating Health and Safety information for all employees.

 

In addition, I have been trained on reception and am frequently asked to cover front of house.  This role has helped me to gain confidence talking to new people within a professional business environment. I deal with a high volume of incoming calls, meet and greet clients as well as completing various admin tasks. 

 

 

2 0 1 3 - 2 0 1 6            Next Home Retail Ltd.

Position: Team Leader

Location: Kent

 

Core duties included developing and visualising customer style preferences, processing large furniture orders as well as establishing loan agreements for those who placed larger instore orders. Other responsibilities involved working the tills, controlling the stock management and replenishment systems. 

 

I was promoted to the role of Team Leader which involved training new staff members within our department while being responsible for the in-store design sales and after-the-sale customer service. With this role, I conducted home calls, room measuring and re-merchandising plans for each department. 

 

Being on the home department gave me the autonomy to experiment with visual merchandising as I created room designs and floor layouts throughout the store; these skills could then be transferred across various other departments. I was able to interact with a large variety of people as well as deal with a substantial amount of money and understand and promoting various credit options. 

 

 

2 0 1 2                          GDM Architects.

Position: Intern/ Work Experience Placement  

Location: Kent 

 

During my time here, I predominantly focused on creative advertising and marketing for the company; they were interested in targeting a younger demographic. I was also given the task of current productivity reporting and formulating floor plans and 2D drawings – all using CAD – for my own durational project which saw me constructing a 3D Model prototype of the structure.
